VAM® Field Service technicians can provide Assembly Orientation either at the workshop or on-site at the rig. This service ensures precise alignment of various completion assemblies. As wells become increasingly complex with numerous control lines and connected assemblies, or when avoiding string rotation while landing the hangers is necessary, the orientation service supports your operations. It ensures optimal alignment while maintaining the integrity of the entire string.
A VAM® Field Service technician will be on-site with a batch of couplings or pup-joints with offset connections to:
- Define the precise angle to be compensated using our calibrated setting block (Barrette®) system.
- Assist in the make-up operation to ensure perfect make-up with full alignment and connection performance.
- Provide support during the run-in-hole operations.
- Align your production tubing hanger to the well head without rotating your string while using a fully performant premium connection – around 30 minutes vs 6-8 hours of the conventional trial-and-error approach (94% faster).
